private events manager
While obtaining her B.S. at the University of Minnesota, Kylie bartended to cover rent and accidentally fell in love with the pace and people that come to life within restaurant walls. Post-graduation, a hunger for travel and adventure led Kylie on a six month solo backpacking trip through France, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco in hopes of “figuring it all out.” While her time away didn’t bring her to figuring it all out, she did return home with a reinforced love for human connection, food, drink, and the memories that are made within bars, restaurants, and establishments of hospitality.
Kylie joined the dining room team at Spoon and Stable in January of 2017 as a server before being promoted to the private events manager position in May of 2018. She coordinates company-wide private dining bookings, as well as full restaurant buyouts, offsite events, and special celebrations like Bellecour’s Bastille Day. She is delighted to have found a role within the hospitality profession that combines the highly social and fast-paced nature of the restaurant world with the opportunity to develop larger-scale projects and special events. She is proud to be a part of a team that is constantly seeking to evolve, improve, and rethink the guest experience.
