Chef Gavin Kaysen came home to Minneapolis to open his first restaurant in a hundred-year-old horse stable the late fall of 2014. Over 10 years later, Spoon and Stable consistently delivers warm hospitality and a seasonally inspired menu rooted in French technique, whether for a milestone celebration or a weeknight visit to the bar and lounge.

THE SYNERGY SERIES

Since its inception in 2015, The Synergy Series has introduced world-renowned chefs to our Twin Cities community. From Daniel Boulud, Grant Achatz, and Sean Brock to Christopher Kostow, Dominique Crenn, and Traci Des Jardins, each series allows our dining community to experience the food of internationally recognized chefs right in our backyard. It also offers the opportunity for these formidable talents to teach and inspire our staff, and with the introduction of our 2021 Dialogue series, our larger hospitality community as well. Because of our generous sponsors, each year we’re able to donate proceeds from these events to charities directly serving communities through food.

Demi brings us back to the original purpose of a restaurant: to restore. Located in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis, adjacent to sister restaurant Spoon and Stable, Demi offers a tasting experience that seeks to ignite a sense of curiosity and comfort. In 2024, Demi was named a Relais & Chateaux property.

At Bellecour, Chef Gavin Kaysen marries the warmth of a daily neighborhood gathering space with the delight of impeccable French cuisine. At both locations, you’ll be welcomed with pastries, baked fresh every day, perhaps a weekly loaf of bread, or a leisurely lunch date. In the North Loop, you’ll be drawn back to for a full-service dinner of bistro favorites and a classic bar menu.

KZ PROVISIONING

Andrew Zimmern and Gavin Kaysen combined their knowledge of sports and food to create a unique catering company for professional athletes. KZ Provisioning works alongside professional sports teams to create balanced, healthy, and delicious meals throughout the season and post-season. Each meal provides players with the ideal fuel to excel during each game and practice, while our staff shares hospitality that goes above and beyond for player, staff, and players’ families.

KZ Provisioning is proud to fuel the Minnesota Wild, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Minnesota Lynx.

MARA

Mara is a restorative Mediterranean-inspired restaurant developed in partnership between Chef Gavin Kaysen and Four Seasons Minneapolis, opened in 2022. Featuring warm, sun-lit spaces and an open kitchen concept illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows, guests are transported to coastal destinations with the flavors and techniques of the 22 countries that touch the Mediterranean Sea. Each dining experience is personalized by a staff dedicated to nurturing both body and soul.
